Review: Megaslim Appetite Suppresant and Liver Detox

I ordered the Combo of the Megaslim 2 in 1 Appetite Suppressant and Fat Burner plus a Liver Detox.  I already feel my appetite shrinking and I love the idea of doing a detox while doing a diet at the same time.  Looking forward to a jump start on my diet and losing some weight.  :)

No Soda Month

Better late than never!! April is No Soda Month according to Bob Harper of the Biggest Loser. I am a huge fan of the show and have been following Bob and Jillian on Facebook for quite some time. If you aren't already following them, I highly recommend it. They will do little challenges for us every once in awhile. So, now I have joined the No Soda Month bandwagon and am going to officially quit the root beer and Mountain Dew. Even Diet Soda is banned. Who wants to join me? I'm also giving up the M&M's too. No more sweets for me, other than those healthy sweets. Yogurt, 100 Calorie Popcorn, etc.

Fiber One Yogurt and Safeway

Last month I received a coupon for a FREE Fiber One Yogurt and a $50.00 Safeway Gift Card courtesy of Fiber One and Safeway. These items were received through MyBlogSpark. Unfortunately, we do not have a Safeway locally here but I gave the card to a friend of mine who travels back and forth to Miami quite often. With the coupon, I decided to try the Key Lime Pie flavor. Yummy!! Not only is this yogurt great tasting, but it the only leading nonfat yogurt with 50 calories and 5 grams of fiber (20 percent of the Recommended Daily Value). There are a variety of flavors including, Strawberry, Peach, Vanilla and the Key Lime Pie that I bought. This yogurt is so good and so good for you that it is actually Hungry Girl approved and is stamped as such on the box. I'm a big fan of the Hungry Girl website as well as the Hungry Girl Facebook page.

How would you like to try it for yourself? It just so happens that I can offer a Gift Card and a coupon for Free Fiber One Yogurt. To win, all you have to do is tell me what flavor you would like to try, either here on this blog or on my facebook page. If you've already tried it, great!! Let me know what you thought. I will pick one winner on Wednesday April 14th at noon.

Progresso High Fiber Soups

A couple of weeks ago, I received a Progresso High Fiber Soup Prize Pack from Progresso and MyBlogSpark. I finally got a chance to try it one day at lunch, and was shocked at how yummy and filling it actually was. I tried the Chicken Tuscany, and was pleasantly surprised to find that not only was it 13grams of net carbs per serving, but it was also low in fat and calories. At 130 calories per serving and 3 grams of fat, you can't beat it for a healthy filling meal. There are four new, great tasting Progresso soups that have 28% of the recommended Daily Value of fiber per serving (7 grams) and have no added MSG* or artificial flavors. The new varieties include Chicken Tuscany, Creamy Tomato Basil, Hearty Vegetable and Noodles and Homestyle Minestrone. I would also love to try the Hearty Vegetable and Noodles. Did you know that the Progresso soups also tell you the Weight Watchers Points value right on the can?

If you would like to try the soup and earn a chance to win a Progresso High Fiber Soup Prize Pack, all you need to do is tell me what you do to incorporate more fiber into your diet. Hurry, because this contest will end on midnight December 10, 2009.

The prize pack also included a set of two huge soup mugs and two spoons and would make a great gift.

Weight Loss Products

Have you ever thought about how much money you've spent over the years on weight loss products. Whether it's exercise equipment, diet food such as weight loss shakes or protein bars it can really add up. It scares me to think how much I've spent in the last 20 years and still to this day still have so much to lose. Even worse, I still spend money on it. I regularly buy weight loss shakes because of the convenience factor. Not only that, I still find myself fascinated at times by the latest weight loss gadgets such as the newest exercise machines. What is it that does that to people? I sure can't figure it out. I guess I just need to stick to healthy eating and working out.

Shopping is Exercise

When I was younger, I used to go shopping with my mom practically every weekend. When I moved to Florida, I didn't really have anyone to go with so my weekly shopping expeditions ceased to exist. Since losing weight, I decided that I need to go shopping this weekend for some new clothes. I went with my friend Niki and we went to two different malls and shopped for 5 hours. That is 5 hours of aerobic activity folks. By the time I got home my feet were hurting and I was exhausted. I woke up this morning and I was a little stiff, but my feet were feeling better and I felt like I actually did something yesterday. The diet is going really well and when I update this week, I will have surpassed one of goals. I think I've already done it but I want it to be official.. One thing that is already official is that I have already lost a whole size and I'm well on my way to the next one.
