Windshield Replacement

The other day I was driving down 17/92 just minding my own business when either a rock or a bb comes out of nowhere and hits my windshield. I had just gone under an overpass, so I first thought that I'd been shot at but I think that if it was a gun it would have done more than just crack the windshield. Almost immediately it cracked about 2 inches up and about 2 inches to the side.

I've decided that I'm going to have to call a windshield replacement company such as Auto By Save in order to get this repaired because I don't think it's something that can be fixed by injecting the gel into the window. It makes me so mad though because now I'm afraid that the littlest thing is going to make it crack even worse. It's so bad that I'm afraid to even wash my car. Guess I will have to call the insurance company tomorrow to see if they cover it.

Fashionable Plus Size Clothing

Ok, part of my goal for my new dating plan is that when I go out, I'm going to dress more feminine. Rather than wearing jeans and a cute top all the time, I'm going to wear a skirt or dress at least twice per month. I love how I feel in a dress as long as I'm comfortable in it, so if I have something that is long enough to cover my knees I think I should be good to go. Something similar to my dress from the Biggest Loser Fashion Show would be great for either a night out with the girls or a date night.

I was browsing through the Womens Catalog at Simply Be and I found a cute Little Black Dress. I think something like this might be the answer because not only will it cover my knees but it's also sexy by showing my shoulders and a little(not too) cleavage. Simply Be has all kinds of cute and sexy clothing for us plus size girls. They have everything from tops and jeans to lingerie and dresses.



It's funny, but I used to think that Plus Size Fashions were usually just frumpy, always had too much material, and just made me feel bigger for some reason. What I've discovered though is that, it's all in how the item is designed. If you find something that is flattering to your body shape you can look just as fashionable and sexy as those skinny girls. Half the battle is feeling good about yourself, and the other half is feeling good about what you are wearing. I think this dress or something similar would make me feel awesome and that would ultimately help me project in a positive way. What do you think? What kind of clothes make you feel sexy?

Biggest Loser Fashion Show

Here are some of the pictures that were taken of me at the Biggest Loser Fashion Show. I have lost a total of 35 pounds and almost 20 inches. Everywhere I go people are commenting on how much better I look.

The perfect promotional tool

Ok, this is so cool!! I went to a conference for work a couple of months ago and one of the things that they did was give us a Promotional USB Drive with the company logo on it and it was already preloaded with all of the spreadsheets and templates that we were going to need for the conference and for use in the office. I thought that was a fabulous idea and I have used my new USB drive on a regular basis ever since I received it.

I recently found a company that deals specifically in promotional USB drives or promotional jump drives. FlashDealer.com has found its niche in the market place by offering businesses affordable promo flash drive options. They offer more than just corporate and company logos printed on a USB flash drive – they offer complete outside of the box customizations. Their motto is “You dream it we can build it”. Anything you can imagine – no matter how unusual – can be built and shipped out to your business for marketing purposes. I came up with some pretty cool ideas, a suitcase design for a hotel, a space shuttle design for NASA, or a telephone for someone that you are having a hard time getting in touch with. The telephone is great because if it has your company information on it, it couldn't say any clearer that you want them to call you. When I was doing marketing, I needed something like that for one of our larger clients. I think it would have been the perfect incentive to get him to return my calls. What do you think? Where does the time go?

Jees, I don't know where the month of August went? Do you realize that we are less than 4 months away from Christmas and the New Year? I can't believe it! Work has been an absolute madhouse. The colleges are starting to come back and I have been overwhelmed by rooms contracts plus I am now on my own as we recently had to let our Assistant Manager go due to budgetary cutbacks. Luckily, I have the support of my awesome staff to get me through it. Anyway, I promise I'm going to get back to blogging on a more regular basis plus I'm focusing on a life makeover and I will keep you posted on that as well. The biggest change for me is that I am now actively looking for that special someone by using a variety of online dating sites. I can't wait to let you know how that goes. I am also officially down 2 whole pant sizes and I broke a major goal last month. I've been focusing on my workout and I think that is truly the key. Well, I'll keep you posted as things go along.
