Life Insurance for Everyone

I wasn't aware until just recently how many different types of life insurance that there actually are. We had a presentation at one of my local networking groups and the lady was talking about the different options available. It seems that there are life insurance policies to fit basically anyone or any budget. If you are single and just looking to cover the cost of funeral expenses, there's an option for that. If you have a family that will not have any income after your passing, there is an option for that. Last night I went to see the movie "We bought a zoo" and it focused around a young family dealing with the loss of the wife/mother. It's actually based on a true story and one of the things that happened in the movie really hit home. Benjamin(the father) found a key to a safety deposit box in a old sweatshirt and when he looked into the safety deposit box he found a life insurance policy that his wife had gotten before her death. She put aside what she called "Circus Money" and he used that money to get the zoo up to code, and was finally able to open on time. Had she not put that money aside, they would have lost virtually everything. So today, I was looking at a website that breaks down the differences between the types of policies and offers information on how to know what type of policy to purchase. If it's something that you've never thought about before, it might be time. It's up to you to make sure that your family is taken care of. We have insurance with my husbands union. I have been thinking about getting a better plan lately.
