I ran across one of the rings the other day in my jewelry box, and it made me think. I wonder if guys still give Promise Rings? Well, let me tell you. Yes, they do and wow are they different from the Promise Rings from the 80's and early 90's. Nowadays they resemble engagement rings but they have Cubic Zirconia instead of diamonds. Since silver and white gold became more popular in the late 90's, the ones today are made of Sterling Silver instead of yellow gold. Plus the prices are still reasonable for a young guy's wallet.

They sure do. I gave my girlfriend almost the exact one you described - two hearts intertwined with Diamonds.

I hope that you aren't the only. Surely there's got to be a few good guys left. How wonderful that you gave your girlfriend that ring? She will think of you every time she looks at it.
