Tropical Storm Fay

Are you ready for hurricane season? If not, I suggest you get to the store to get stocked up on water, batteries, flashlights and canned food because it is on it's way. It looks like it's going to be affecting much of Florida and part of Georgia. I will officially be moving into the hotel as of Monday night so that I can be ready for whatever comes our way. It doesn't look like we will be affected by too much of it but I definitely want to be ready if it does something like Charlie did in 2004.

How do you prepare for hurricanes? Have you already done your shopping? I did my shopping today and then we will purchase alot of water and bread products for the hotel on Sunday just in case we lose electricity. Even if we lose electricity, we will be able to serve something for breakfast.

Don't have to worry about hurricanes here in WI, but do have to stock up for winter blizzards. This summer brought flooding and a lot of rough storms too, so we are learning there are other things to prepare for. Stay safe.
