Fun Idea for Holiday Get-togethers

This Saturday, we are having ladies night and we are all getting together with 2 Dozen of our favorite kind of cookies, and then we will each swap 1 or 2 cookies to ultimately end up a mixed assortment.  It's a fun idea, and not too expensive or difficult even for someone who works a lot of hours.  Some of us, may prepare cookies completely from scratch, while others may buy store bought or frozen cookie dough.  No worries, because I'm sure they will all be good and it's really all about the company anyway.  Here's a recipe for a new twist on the original sugar cookies..
