I'm sad to say that this book really struck a chord with me as I recently found myself revisiting a relationship from the past. Just last year, I found myself doing just that and it did nothing more than make me even more lonely because I realized that he was never going to live up to the man that I had built up in my head no matter how attractive he was to me. In this book, Ireland sees Jay as she prepares to celebrate her birthday and she feels that instant pull of attraction and feels the need to explore it. I know so many women who have done the exact same thing, so I would highly recommend this book to all the women out there. Great book!
