Have you always dreamed of owning your own business?

Ok, so you've always dreamed of owning your own business. What's stopping you? Lack of experience or just don't know where to start? I am always looking to expand my business interests, so as I was searching the web I ran across some really helpful sites. I have always been interested in how people can buy into franchises and it's basically like a business in a box. Franchises are helpful because they do much of the hard work for you such as branding, marketing, time savings, and training. If you're not sure where to start, there is tons of information out there about how you can buy into a franchise versus starting out completely on your own. Both Franchise-Guide and Franchises at About.com are helpful sites to help you with any questions you might have about how to get started. Another great site where you can find out more information about franchises is BusinessMart.com. BusinessMart.com has quickly become one of the fastest growing business for sale search engines. You can search for businesses for sale by owner
as well as information on franchises. BusinessMart.com has many resources to help you on your journey to start your own business, sell your existing business or open a franchise.

One more last resource for information on franchise opportunities is the Franchise Buyers Network. They list everything from home based franchises to the Top 10 Best Franchises. Making the Top 10 list are Carvel Ice Cream, Huntington Learning Centers, Molly Maid, and much more.

Hopefully, you now have enough information to get you started. If you could start a business today, what would you do? Would you buy a franchise or start from scratch? If I had the money, I would love to open a consignment shop. I used to want to own a hotel but with the economy the way it is, I don't think that's a great choice right now.
