Book Review: Landed Wings

 I am not a big fantasy novel buff, but I recently had the opportunity to read Landed Wings a new fantasy novel from Skylhur Tranqille.  The book starts off with an amazing description of one of the lead characters wings and from that first vivid description it draws you into the story.   The descriptions were so amazing in this book, that I found myself picturing the characters in my head.  For some reason, I was picturing Avatar-like characters. 

I thought this was a great book with likeable characters an a great storyline and I'm really looking forward to the next book in the series.  I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great story to draw you into a different world.

Just a side note:  As I was reading the authors' blog, I noticed that she is a junior in college and  I was shocked.   Keep an eye out folks, this girl is going somewhere.  :) The author of this book sent me a free copy in exchange for my honest review.
