The weight loss with the Biggest Loser program was going really good this week until I made the mistake of getting on the elliptical machine. Everyone tells me that the elliptical machine is better for your knees than a treadmill but it really screwed me up. For the last couple of days my knee has been swelling and is very painful. I've been icing it, but so far there is no change. It's a bummer, because I was doing so good with the exercise. I'm hoping that I can get it to a point where I can start walking again but maybe at a slower pace.

I don't see a date, so I'm not sure how old this post is.
For knee injuries and swelling in the joints, soak in a tub of warm water with one to two cups of Epsom Salts. The salts will help remove the fluid and lower the swelling.
