Exterior Shutters

Since Tropical Storm Fay just passed us and now Hurricane Gustav is on it's way to somewhere in the Gulf, I thought this was a great opportunity to bring up the idea of shutters for your home. I have purely decorative shutters, but there are a wide variety of exterior shutters that are available including those that are fully functional. They may not qualify as hurricane shutters, but they are certainly cheaper and will help keep the driving rains away from your windows. Most of the leaks experienced at my hotel were from driving rain coming in around the windows.
